My favorite keyboard changes all the time. The quietest, lowest profile, with adequate key spacing keyboard on the market under $75 USD....That's my favorite one. I only buy them every few years but that's my criteria. I can't fathom how there's a resurgence in popularity in the mechanical keyboards from the 70's. Ewww, ugh....BLEH! Springy keys, that "tong" and vibration with every key press?! The travel time and super deep, large AF keys?! No thank you! I won't disparage you for liking it, but I don't really get the fascination.
As for a mouse, Logitech had a wireless mouse/keyboard combo for like $100-$150 back in the early 2000's, one of the first in the MX line but before their nano and unified receivers. It had a fairly high DPI for a cordless at the time, as well as a charging dock that was also the receiver. It had, what's seemingly standard availability today, the right-handed rest/groove for your thumb which was also a clickable button, as well as a free spin and lockable scroll wheel. I don't remember the model....I loved that thing though. Exgf broke it when I moved out though
