Normand_Nadon Yeah I wanted to use it to create a expense workbook for itemizing taxes, for my mother. She owns a rental so she itemizes expenses for the year for taxes. Up until 2 years ago, she was using excel....to print a page with lines, then hand wrote expenses into it and summed columns and rows via a calculator...LOL. So I made her an excel workbook that sums up columns on a page, then copies those values to the next sheet (next month) so those columns can be summed up and added to that value that was carried forward.
The tricky part, is some months she needs to ADD sheets. In excel, I have it setup to just reference the Previous Sheet, so even if she copy's a sheet for the page 2 of a month, the next sheet can still reference it and nothing breaks. On LibreCalc, I haven't found an equivalent function to previous sheet or something that will serve that same purpose.
Because if it weren't for this damn excel sheet, I could move her to Linux. She uses her PC for these expenses in excel, web browsing, browsing pictures, and printing. I'd LOVE to get her Linux bc as we all know, windows drivers for printers suck ass.
Anyway, sorry for the long winded response lol. But that's why I'm asking about Librecalc. You're right, the support for it online is very minimal compared to excel. Excel might have the largest community support online out of any software.
