joe213 The End User License would tell you what the terms are. Usually it's the situation that someone would object to the terms and avoid the product.
It's normal in software to agree to that you don't have a warranty and you use the software at your own risk... There's a contract law MOOC on Coursera that I've intended to study but I didn't get very far in. I would assume that lawyers would write enough terms into the license contract to ensure that the license is enforceable around the world.
