I love Snaps. Also the official Firefox snap is made by Mozilla as far as I understand it @MrSatan. I really like Snaps and flatpaks. That being said, flatpaks break the Pop Shop on Pop!_OS (but they are pretty nice for Debian) and Snaps don't integrate with the aethestics of my system. For example, I have the Firefox snap package installed on my computers, and it is great for my use case, but it insists on having an Adwaita theme and a weird mouse theme. That being said, I do use it as a second browser. See, I have adopted a philosophy of privacy by compartmentalization. As such, I compartmentalize my browsing. I have tor browser on the rare occassion that I need complete anonymity (almost never tbh), and then I have my regular system firefox which has some heavy about:config tweaks and hardcore privacy extensions (including noscript), and finally, I use the Firefox snap package as my "normie" browser. It has an adblocker and a few other privacy extensions, but unlike my regular Firefox, I let it store history and cookies and allow all scripts by default and I don't edit about:config except to disable pocket. This is where I watch youtube videos, do online shopping, watch DRM content, and do my uni work. I also have the discord snap because discord insists on us having to go to their website to download the shite piece of electron garbage and it isn't in any of the Debian-based distro's repositories. The snap stays pretty up to date which is nice because they like to force us to go download a second .deb file from their shite website. ugh.
