Folding@Home right now can use lots of help from home volunteers to crunch through some very relevant GPU dependent work units. I'm posting this since I'd like to see Gardiner create a video on using Folding@Home on a Linux desktop! What's happening in the world is turning out to be too much for me to talk about. All I ask for is project awareness.
I've been running the Folding@Home client on my desktop. Only the main package installs on my Kubuntu 19.04 install. This Linux install seems to be too dated for the Control and 3D Viewer packages to install. I've found that the client can be controlled through local port 7396 and the main package copies an init script,
/etc/init.d with the program set to run by default.
